Work Experience

General Motors – Design Release Engineering Intern                                                                             (June 2020 – August 2020)

  • Project: CPDM Modules for GM
    • Lead development in early stages for AV Module CPDM which would be installed onto a future GM vehicle.
    • Lead internal discussions as to the purpose, the specifications, design, and software capabilities of the module
    • Created technical specification which would be sent to suppliers and lead sourcing efforts
  • Project: CMM for GM Cruise Autonomous Vehicle
    • Supported release work of the chassis motion module by tracking hardware releases and software releases from suppliers.
    • Resolved issues needed to complete the validation and ensure the part was working properly by managing PRTSs and creating engineering change orders.
    • Coordinated discussions between GM supplier of CMM. GM, and Cruise Automation in order to ensure everyone was getting the correct information and there would be no problems in the future.

General Motors – Design Release Engineering Intern                                                                             (June 2019 – August 2019)

  • Project: AV Modules for GM Cruise Autonomous Vehicle
    • Supported development of AV modules which will be applied to the GM Cruise autonomous vehicle
    • Coordinated discussions between GM teams outside of AV and Cruise teams on components in order to ensure timing and development targets were met
    • Tracked issues coming from suppliers and managed resources directly needed to resolve these issues.
  • Project: Ultra Cruise
    • Helped to answer key technical supplier questions which and provide feedback to the team which ensured that all action items were complete and the process was able to continue
    • Reviewed technical specifications and provided input to different areas which could be improved
    • Helped to organize first round sourcing efforts which would then influence the direction of the Ultra Cruise program and alter design of the system
  • Project: T5 Dashboard and PFEP Roll Up
    • Added data validation in overall dashboard to standerdize input of information and allow for efficient tracking
    • Improved readability and understanding of T5 PFEP page and updated with new information
    • Worked to adapt the overall dashboard to track component testing effectively and stages of development of modules

Hitachi Automotive Systems-  ADAS Intern                                                                                              (May 2018 – August 2018)

  • Project: Generation 3 and Generation 4 Stereo Camera Evaluation
    • Evaluated and tested Gen3 and Gen4 Stereo camera for ADAS Systems to compile test reports for final development of Gen3 cameras and beginning testing of Gen4 cameras.
      • Allowed for final improvements to be made in timely manner reducing cost and improving productivity
    • Researched algorithms and components for ADAS to provide suggestions to improve ADAS system efficiency
    • Compiled problem reports and recommended solutions for ADAS problems based on data and troubleshooting various problems to further development and accuracy of stereo camera

Wireless Communications Enterprise                                                                                                       (January 2018 – May 2020)

  • ArcelorMittal Steel Coil Grading System – Documentation Chief
    • Working with ArcelorMittal the team developed a system to grade and track all facets of the 5 pickle line in the steel making system. My primary fuction was data analysis, communications between SQL and Python, and database design for the SQL Server. I also was responsible for all documentation and communication for the team.
  • Radios On A Plane – Project Manager
    • A redesign of the controls interface where pilots interact with communications systems allowing pilots to communicate without needing to lose focus of flying.
